Recommendations after implantation and tooth extraction

1It is not recommended to actively rinse your mouth for 3 days after removal. The use of rinse aids in the form of baths is allowed.

2Do not eat until the anesthetic is over to avoid injury to the tongue and lips.

3For 7 days, follow a diet: refrain from hot and spicy foods, foods with bones, sharp edges, etc.

4For 5-7 days, refrain from activities that require significant physical exertion.

5Do not warm up the area of the extracted tooth or apply compresses.

6Do not visit the bathhouse, sauna, gym, pool and solarium for 7 days.

7Within 2 days after tooth extraction, you must refrain from smoking and alcohol.

8Be sure to brush your teeth, including in the extraction area, being careful not to injure the hole.

9You should take all the medicines prescribed by your doctor in a timely manner.
What is normal and should not cause your concern:

1Edema may appear. The maximum edema develops on the third day. Bruises may appear. The swelling and bruising will go away on its own.

2Pain is normal after any surgical procedure. Pain relievers should be used as directed by a physician.

3On the first day, saliva may contain a small amount of blood.

4The corners of the mouth may become dry and chapped. Moisten them with ointment. Possible exacerbation of herpes. The throat may hurt slightly and the temperature may rise.

5You will not be able to open your mouth wide for three days after removal.
You should immediately contact your doctor if:

1Severe and prolonged pain that cannot be relieved by pain medication.

2Bleeding with a discharge of scarlet blood, which does not stop within 15 minutes.

3Severe edema, making it difficult to swallow and open the mouth.

4Temperature over 38 C.
